Baptism – Joining with Jesus’ Followers in Jesus’ Mission

Baptism, or the Rite of Initiation, is an important step in a person’s faith journey.

Be it for yourself, or your children, baptism acknowledges a desire to actively become one of Jesus’ followers, through the Church.

Through baptism, you commit yourself to nurturing your relationship with the living God by:

• regularly participating in the weekly worship life of the church
• seeking God’s guidance through prayer
• nurturing your relationship with God through study and learning
• growing spiritually by sharing in the journey with the Christian community
